Michael Niccolini
Founder

Mr. Niccolini is co-founder of MCM Capital and is responsible for overall strategic direction of the Company and is Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Niccolini has successfully executed the Company’s strategic vision, creating a preeminent distressed asset manager responsible for the management of over $7 billion in distressed assets.  Mr. Niccolini has been an entrepreneur for over twenty years with a focus on residential lending and distressed asset investing.  Prior to founding MCM in 2007, Mr. Niccolini founded Access Capital Mortgage, a successful mortgage lender that was sold to Presidential Bank FSB in 2008.

Mr. Niccolini also founded Greenleaf Title and Escrow in 2001 and served as Senior Counsel at Microstrategy, Inc. Mr. Niccolini earned a Juris Doctorate degree from University of Michigan Law School and a BA from Cornell University.

Andrew Reierson
Managing Director and Portfolio Manager

Mr. Reierson is Portfolio Manager responsible for the MCM NPL Fund.  Mr. Reierson manages and executes investment strategies. Mr. Reierson is responsible for valuation of bulk acquisitions, daily oversight of portfolio resolutions, outbound trade analytics, portfolio performance monitoring and risk management reporting.  Prior to joining MCM in 2010, Mr. Reierson held capital markets roles at several Fortune 500 Companies including E*Trade Bank, SunTrust Bank, and Capital One.  Mr. Reierson has been involved in trading over $15 billion in residential mortgages assets and has managed RMBS, card and auto securitization platforms.

Mr. Reierson earned a BA in Economics from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder.

Lauren Shea
Chief Credit Officer

Ms. Shea is Chief Risk Officer of MCM Capital Partners and is responsible for business operations including transaction management, underwriting, closing, and information technology.  Ms. Shea oversees the daily operation of the company as well as acquisition due diligence, servicer surveillance, and the management of securitization and repo facilities.  Prior to joining MCM in 2008, Ms. Shea was a Correspondent Account Executive for Aurora Loan Services, a Lehman Brothers Company, where she was responsible for client production in the New England and Mid-Atlantic Regions.  Prior to Lehman Brothers, Ms. Shea was the Vice President of Wholesale Operations at Dynamic Capital Mortgage, a regional mortgage lender in Boston, MA where she was responsible for the development, implementation and management of the wholesale channel.  Prior roles at Dynamic Capital Mortgage include, Operations Manager of the Retail Division and the Secondary Marketing Desk. 

Ms. Shea earned a BA from Colgate University.

Jason Williams
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Williams is CFO of MCM Capital and is responsible for overseeing all accounting and treasury functions along with all financial and investor reporting.  Prior to joining MCM in 2019, Mr. Williams was Acting Vice President of Fannie Mae’s two largest accounting divisions where he was responsible for day-to-day operations management of all general accounting and reporting for the Single-Family and Multifamily loans teams, which consists of over $2.6 trillion dollars of assets/liabilities and 18 million loans and the Securities accounting team, which consisted of the entire mortgage securities portfolio of over $175 billion.  Mr. Williams also held Director positions within Fannie Mae’s Financial Reporting team where he prepared financial statements and MD&A disclosure for SEC reporting and within the Corporate FP&A team where he led a team responsible for managing, designing and maintaining the financial systems for operating expense forecasting and prepared analysis for Executive Management and the Board of Directors.  Mr. Williams began his career as an auditor at multiple regional accounting firms where he gained diverse accounting, audit and tax experience with mortgage finance, construction, retail/wholesale and non-profit industries.

Mr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an accounting major from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Certified Public Accountant within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Tony Rowe
Director Sales and Trading

Mr. Rowe is a capital markets professional with 40 years experience in performing and nonperforming residential and commercial loan trading, RMBS trading, asset securitization, residential mortgage loan origination and municipal bond sales. His responsibilities include developing and managing relationships with market participants, sourcing residential loan investments and selling loans from MCM’s portfolio. Over his career, Mr. Rowe has owned and operated several residential mortgage trading and origination companies and traded more than $20 billion of residential, commercial and consumer assets.

Steven Trowern
Founder

Mr. Trowern is co-founder of MCM Capital and is responsible for execution of investment policy including asset acquisitions and investment performance monitoring.  Mr. Trowern oversees all capital markets activity, loan sourcing, trading, and the utilization of leverage from third party lenders.   Prior to joining MCM in 2007, Mr. Trowern was co-founder and Chairman of Dynamic Capital Mortgage, Inc., a $1.5 billion residential mortgage lender.  Mr. Trowern has held investment banking positions with Lehman Brothers and Citicorp, and credit research with Moody’s Investor Services. 

Mr. Trowern earned a Master in Business Administration from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Economics and Political Science from University of Michigan.

Timothy Savina
Managing Director and Portfolio Manager

Mr. Savina is Portfolio Manager responsible for the Temple View Capital BPL Fund.  Mr. Savina is responsible for all aspects of capital markets, including but not limited to, capital raising, quantitative modeling, due diligence, loan trading and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining MCM in 2011, Mr. Savina was a senior financial engineer in Fannie Mae’s quantitative modeling and analytics credit risk division where he used various mathematical, analytical and econometric tools to calculate an allowance for loan losses.  Mr. Savina is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Savina earned a Master in Business Administration from University of Maryland and a BS in Finance from American University. 

Dan Stump
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Stump is the Chief Operating Officer of Temple View Capital.  Mr. Stump’s risk responsibilities include leadership of Temple View Capital’s valuation, counterparty and audit functions; Operational areas of responsibility include management of the firm’s processing, funding and closing functions and loan origination system.  Mr. Stump brings 10+ years of mortgage investments experience, most recently serving as the head of finance, operations and transactions for Neuberger Berman’s residential mortgage private equity funds.  Prior to Neuberger Berman, Mr. Stump traded fixed income and commodities futures for a propriety trading firm and was a technology consultant as Accenture where he implemented Oracle Enterprise Resource Management systems for third party clients.

Mr. Stump is an honors graduate from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor of science in Industrial Engineering.  Mr. Stump has earned Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation.

Gerardo Botello,
General Counsel

Mr. Botello is General Counsel of MCM Capital and is the head of the legal department responsible for corporate governance and the oversight of all legal contracts.  Mr. Botello manages corporate structure documentation, mortgage loan purchase and sale agreements, servicing agreements, and partnership document.  Prior to joining MCM in 2008, Mr. Botello was General Counsel at Greenleaf Title and Escrow.  Mr. Botello began his legal career as an attorney in the Corporate and Securities Group at the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan Lovells. 

Mr. Botello earned a Juris Doctorate degree from American University and a BA from University of Washington.
